Working at Viterra

One team, connected.

Connection. It’s at the heart of who we are and what we do.

Running a global, fully integrated agriculture network requires a diverse, dedicated, and talented team.

A team who—above all—realizes the power in connecting local growers to countries around the world.

That’s why we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone is challenged to bring out their best, provided with the guidance and expertise needed to succeed, and truly appreciated for their work. A workplace where safety is always a priority.

The result? We all achieve more—by connecting each other to a world of opportunities. We find our own ways to make our mark and bring sustainable, traceable, and quality-controlled agriculture products to customers across 120+ countries.

We work hard to meet the needs of a growing and changing world—and we’re proud of that work.

Join a team that’s connected by…

We want the best out of ourselves and each other.

Here, any individual is empowered to claim their contributions, and see the direct connection between their work and the company’s success.

We win as one team. That’s why we make open communication and collaboration the basis of everything we do—so each one of us has the support to perform at their best.

We believe in leaders who bring us together and lift us up.

Our leaders are experts in their fields and committed to creating a workplace where everyone is free to speak up, learn from mistakes, and thrive as part of the team.

From open and honest communication, to learning opportunities, to giving people the support to make decisions – our leaders are always ready with a helping hand and the right support.

We always celebrate a job well done.

Connecting the agriculture network from producer to consumer is no small task, and it wouldn’t be possible without each one of us.

From competitive compensation and performance-based incentives to robust benefits, we show our gratitude for the work our people put in through rewards that matter most.

Meet our team - Kevin Reid

Meet Kevin Reid. Kevin is the Assistant Manager of Viterra’s Brandon, Manitoba facility. Kevin started working at a wooden grain elevator in Gainsborough, Saskatchewan when he was 22 years old and celebrated 30 years with Viterra in September 2022. He’s worked at grain elevators in Wauchope and Redvers and then the Fairlight grain terminal before moving to the Brandon facility in 2000.
Kevin is part of a team responsible for grain handling from receiving grain from local farmers, to the grading and storage of the grain and the shipment of that grain to processing facilities.

Kevin likes spending time with his family and in his spare time enjoys taking walks, travelling and attending vintage car shows. A fun fact about Kevin is that he has two vintage vehicles: a 1971 Honda CL 350 motorcycle that was given to him by his uncle who bought the bike brand new that year and his grandfather’s 1969 GMC half ton. He enjoys driving it and showing it at local car shows.

At Viterra we know our success starts with our people – and we are proud to celebrate them!
